This design was born behind prison walls.

While visiting our founder’s brother at Valley State Prison in Chowchilla, California, he wore a simple “Jesus Is King” shirt. As he walked into the visiting room, an inmate called out, “Jesus frees us.” That moment lingered.

California Department of Corrections enforces strict visitation dress codes - no hoodies, no bold colors, no exceptions. What started as a limitation became a purpose. The Jesus Frees Us crewneck was created as a staple for those visits: understated, compliant, and deeply meaningful.

This piece represents freedom that transcends circumstance - freedom of the soul, even when the body is confined.
